The Process of a Miracle.

I have been thinking for a bit on how I could begin the process of generating a side income through blogging. I know that I did not initially begin this journey of blogging for the reason of making money. But since I put in quite amount of my time in creating posts and what not, I recently made the decision why not get paid to blog????

While reading a favorite blog of mine I came across one of the services they had signed up for called Smorty. For those of you that don’t know what this is here’s a brief description..

Smorty is a service connecting advertisers with bloggers. Advertisers can pay bloggers to write opinion posts with links back to the advertisers site.

Not only a service for those who choose to get paid to write, it’s also an opportunity for advertisers to get quality inbound links from blogs all over the blogosphere, in a nutshell...blog advertising made easy!

Similar to the other services in the blogosphere that offers bloggers (like me) to get paid for blogging. The key difference I found is that it basically allows anyone the opportunity to hop on this bandwagon. I have been posting for well over three months now, but since I began with this self hosted blog a little over a month ago, this site is relatively still too “new” to seize other get paid to blog opportunities.

Another important difference I found was the EASE of use….I am a very complicated chic….I need simplicity and that’s what I found.Upon signing up all that was required was the standard “fill in the information” forms, submit my blog and within 48 hours I was approved (They stated it would take at least 72 hours…so what a bonus!!) With no confusion it permits me to do exactly what I like to do…

“WRITE”

Upon approval when logging in to my account I found offers already waiting for me..which “I” then got to either approve or deny. It’s unlike some of the other sites in that you don’t have to wait on the bids that you place; they will forward to you opportunities only that your blog would qualify for at submission. Essentially they provide the foundation upon which to grow, depending upon what “you” do. They do much of the grunt work and in exchange you get paid to do what you enjoy…write!!!

I’m doing my very best to have my life be a reflection of no longer trading my time for money. The bottom line is that I am learning another way to generate an income and if it even slightly reeks of the word “work” in the conventional sense that I have known I want nothing to do with it!

I’m not one to promote anything that I haven’t tried or something that I feel could harm someone. But when and if I do discover something I feel can benefit not only myself but others…you all know only then do I get on my soapbox and start SCREAMING to you all…

“Look…an opportunity…..get on it!!!!”

Sounds like a win win situation to me.
