I have been tagged by Bobby of Revellian.com to help promote as he puts it “A project to promote our community.”
“The rules are simple. Write a post promoting goodness and friendship in the blogosphere. If some of you have any ideas on how or why Google should be boycotted, by all means, please do so. Keep in mind this isn’t about hating Google, it’s about solutions and friendships.”
This post is about promoting unity, this post is about embracing the wonderful and diverse aspects of the blogging community that makes us all more alike then different. Bobby and all the other bloggers that stand firm with this new approach and blogging ethics have made a profound change in the way I choose to participate in this blogging world.
When I made the decision to completely change every aspect of my life, I began here in the blogging world. The one true constant that has followed me through much of the mishaps of my life, is my writing. So my journey of self-discovery came about through my blog as I poured my heart out onto the page before me daily, looking for something.
What I found was here was simply other people; bloggers.
What I found here is what I never discovered in my normal daily life.
People who believed in me.
People who rooted me on.
People who spoke the language I spoke
We all came from…..
Different backgrounds.
Different cultures.
Different beliefs.
Different perspectives.
Different professions.
But none of these differences matter….because of the more prominant similarities.
Here in this world it’s different…people whose lives I would have never have crossed seem to rally together as as ONE huge wave of positive across the internet.
We have a voice that resonates LOUD.
We have the power to make wonderful changes, not only in our own lives but the lives of those who read our words, those we respond to, all the others that seek the same thing we do.
A place to be heard, a place to listen and a place to learn..
A place to understand fully and completely that in the end we are all one.
Now I am asking the following people/bloggers to participate in this project. As Bobby states there really are no rules…so join in if you would like.
