It must be so incredibly easy to become hooked on such drugs these days. When young I knew a couple of places (pubs in UK) where pot could be bought and that was it. Stronger drugs are now sold within school classrooms and at the school gate. It seems almost inevitable that teenagers are tempted to try them. Addictive drugs lead to addiction but the young with the "it can't happen to me", "I want it and now" and "what do you know, you are only a parent" attitude so easily shrug this off. If more people were willing to talk about the nightmare of addiction and recovery perhaps others may take note. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. <br> <strong>Hey Sublimely... When I am involved in artistic pursuits, I look back and I can't remember the times that I suffered or what made me suffer, I look at my art and I remember the joy it brought me. That brings me comfort. Before you know it, I have 6 months or a year where all I remember are the things that made life wonderful. I think I will always remember the struggle…which in and of itself for me is a good thing, in that it allows me to see how far I have come in such a short time and the possibilities of moving …forward…forward…forward into the I am as well as the person I wish to be :)
