After living in the cesspool of heroin addiction for over 12 years of my life….
I stopped using, started the process of recovery and began to heal my life. The first of many miracles I would begin to encounter.
After staying clean for close to two years I lost everything….
Everything I had worked for; the new life I built was all lost in the matter of a few months. I became disappointed and disillusioned about the life I was living.
It wasn’t working.
I followed all the rules.
I played the game the way I was taught.
But in the end, anything I thought I knew or believed was lost to the sad, pathetic reality of my life.
I gave up.
I didn’t want to participate in life one moment longer if it was going to always be a struggle to survive.
I was done.
The Process of a miracle…a 30 Day Experiment was journey I began in the desperate attempts to discover if life was more then the limited conditions I had experienced. I began this process at a point in time which I was jobless, penniless and on my way to being evicted.
I was painfully aware of the fact that what I knew about life did not equal the life I was living. I became willing to change every aspect of my being in order to find another way to live. I gave up everything from the physical to the spiritual in order to redefine the world I lived in
Because I had become hopeless.
I was willing to give life, give myself one last attempt to discover if there was anything more. To discover if the fairy tales dreams of…..
“Anything is Possible”.
Was a reality I could find within my own life….
What I came to understand is anything is possible once I decide it is.
This experiment is a continuing work in progress; a cycle of a 30 days in which I challenge myself on the deepest levels possible in order to free myself from any limiting beliefs that linger in my mind in order to create a life based built upon the seeds of hope within me that push me to discover more.
At the close of the first 30 days I found myself in a place that I had never known before or experienced before. A place within myself I never thought possible . The validation I received from the universe at large in response to the initial step I took in creating the life I choose to live; spoke volumes of the personal power that exists within each and every one of us to create a life that we choose to live.
